Horizontal Multistage Pump AP45-HMP51
Apex Pump Engineering's Horizontal Multi-stage pumps are equipped with two or more impellers enclosed in a single casing. They excel at boosting fluid pressure to high levels without increasing the flow rate. Each additional impeller stage acts like a relay, progressively raising the pressure. They are extensively used for applications that requires high-pressure delivery, such as boiler feeding, high-rise building water supply, reverse osmosis, and firefighting.
How They Work, Unlike single-stage pumps that use one impeller to move water, multi-stage pumps stack multiple impellers (or "stages") on the same shaft within the same housing.Fluid enters the first stage, where it gains an initial boost in pressure. The partially pressurized fluid then flows into the "eye" of the second impeller, which boosts the pressure even further. This process repeats sequentially through every stage until it reaches the desired discharge pressure.
